µM Strike Indicators

In slow water, this is all you need as long as you can see the indicator. The key is to keep your eye on the indicator. You can treat these in a variety of ways.

  1. Treat them with a floatant on the river.
  2. Seal them with appropriate water proofing at home.

Colors can vary.

  • My preference has always been chartreuse.
  • White can be used, but is less visible when it blends in with foam on the river.
  • In some lighting conditions, black or dark brown are highly visible.
  • Preparing a bi-visble indicator can be very useful when varying conditions are present.
